DNG Supply Co. vs Cintas: what to check before you sign a facility services agreement
Both can keep a restroom stocked. The difference is how you buy, what you commit to, and who picks up the phone when something runs out.
Short answer. DNG Supply Co. is a locally owned janitorial, sanitation and facility supply distributor in Fresno, California. We sell restroom paper, can liners, soap and sanitizer, cleaners and chemicals, gloves and floor care by the case, delivered from our Fresno warehouse, with no service agreement, no automatic renewal and no minimum order. Cintas is a national route-service company whose restroom and janitorial supply programs are sold under a multi-year service agreement, typically bundled with rentals like mats, mops and towels. If you want to buy product at a case price you can see and stop whenever you like, that is DNG. If you want a national vendor to run uniforms, first aid, fire protection and restroom service under one contract, Cintas is built for that.

When Cintas is the right call
- You run multiple sites and want uniforms, first aid, fire protection and restroom service under one national vendor.
- You want someone else to physically walk in and restock on a weekly route, and you are comfortable with a multi-year term for that.
- Rental mats, mops and towels on a service schedule matter more to you than owning your supplies.
When DNG is the right call
- You buy product and stock it yourself, and you want to see the case price before you order.
- You do not want a five-year commitment, an automatic renewal, or a termination charge.
- You are in Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Visalia or the surrounding Central Valley and want a local warehouse and a local owner on the phone.
- You want mats and towels washed and billed by the pound, not rented under a contract.
Questions to ask before signing any facility services agreement
- How long is the term? Ask for the number of months from installation, not from signature.
- Does it renew automatically? If so, for how long, and exactly how and when do you have to give notice? Certified mail within a fixed window is common.1
- What does early termination cost? Get the formula in writing.
- Can the rate change during the term? Look for price-adjustment language and any service, fuel, energy or environmental fees that can appear on the invoice later.
- Who owns the dispensers when you leave? Removal and replacement at exit is where switching gets expensive.
- What is the all-in weekly number? Product, rental, service and fees added together, compared against buying the same product by the case.
